The Society is a registered charity funded entirely by our membership and run by volunteers who dedicate much time and effort to our aims. With you as a member, we will be able to continue to campaign for the historic and natural environment of our town and for the issues which might affect you.

How can members get involved?

We encourage members to bring planning, conservation or environmental issues to our attention by contacting a portfolio holder. Members who feel they can give more to the Society are very welcome to seek positions on the Committee or help with running events.

Members can meet at each other at one of the social events or on one of our other events, such such as talks, walks and visits to buildings of architectural or historic interest, often those seldom open to the public. Members also receive a twice-yearly newsletter, highlighting recent activities and other issues with which we have been involved. Members are welcome to submit any items relating to Bournemouth’s past, present or future to be considered for inclusion in the newsletter.

How can I become a member?

We would love you to get involved and support our work! Please join us by printing and posting us a Membership Form.
