      • Dorset Architectural Heritage Week.\u00a0 <\/strong>There would be a presentation on the work of the Civic<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Society by Ken at BNSS on 9th <\/sup>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0September at 230pm<\/p>\n

        1. Local Development Framework. \u00a0<\/strong>The date of the next meeting is awaited<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          1. Built Environment.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            5.1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Hospital Access from the A338 Spur Road.\u00a0 <\/strong>Meeting on 26th<\/sup> May \u2013 Elaine attending.<\/p>\n

            5.2\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Moorside Cottage.\u00a0 <\/strong>Waiting for plans, restoration of the cottage must be included and tied to any<\/p>\n

            \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>development in the grounds.<\/p>\n

            5.3\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Wharfdale Road Business Units.\u00a0 <\/strong>The Society opposed the proposed church and training centre<\/p>\n

            5.4\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Talbot Woods (Richard Carr).\u00a0 <\/strong>The plans had been rejected, residents had thanked the Society but<\/p>\n

            \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>new and bigger plans had been submitted.<\/p>\n

            5.5\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Pokesdown, 3 Wickham Road.\u00a0 <\/strong>The Society\u2019s and local Forum\u2019s views on the plans had been<\/p>\n

            \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>featured in the Echo.<\/p>\n

            5.6\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Belvedere Hotel.\u00a0 <\/strong>No further news on when the development would take place so this would be<\/p>\n

            \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>raised with the Council.<\/p>\n

            5.7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Wessex Hotel.\u00a0 <\/strong>Plans recently deferred by Planning Board due to concerns over loss of dance floor\/ball room and the number of hotel rooms in the new hotel\/residential development.<\/p>\n

              • Westover Road Cinemas. <\/strong>An appraisal (including architectural) was needed.\u00a0 This\u00a0 might cost up to \u00a325K so James was seeking ways\/grants\/funds to sponsor this.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  • 32 Lowther Road.<\/strong> 16 objections to and Arts & Crafts block with an extension to the rear.\u00a0 This<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                    would impose upon the privacy of neighbours.\u00a0 Planning criteria should be strictly enforced.<\/p>\n

                    • Talbot Heath School. <\/strong>Plans for 4 houses on the tennis courts, the design was OK but they impose<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                      a threat to the Heathland.\u00a0 Should be reduced to 2.\u00a0 Defer<\/p>\n

                        \n
                      • 28 Tregonwell Road. <\/strong>Plan to build an extra wing and convert to flats, the mass was excessive<\/li>\n
                      • 18 Browning Avenue. <\/strong>The plan for 2 blocks of lats was an inappropriate development<\/li>\n
                      • Corner Lorne Park Road. <\/strong>Plans still excessive for the site<\/li>\n
                      • 18-22 Studland Road. <\/strong>Two semi-detached blocks, OK but improve the facade.<\/li>\n
                      • 24-26 Studland Road. <\/strong>Plan for 45 flats, should be reduced to 20-30 with improvements at rear<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
