        1. Local Development Framework. \u00a0<\/strong>No report<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          1. Built Environment.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            5.1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Hospital Access from the A338 Spur Road.\u00a0 <\/strong>Elaine was monitoring this.<\/p>\n

            5.2\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Moorside Cottage.\u00a0 <\/strong>The cottage, originally two dwellings, was a Grade II thatched property originally constructed in 17th<\/sup> or early 18th<\/sup> Century.\u00a0 It had been unoccupied for the past 25 years and was in poor condition.\u00a0 The application to build three houses in the grounds to provide funds for the restoration would result in a significant degradation of the visual and spatial context and should be refused.\u00a0 The Society wanted the property to be restored to its\u2019 original two dwellings without the<\/p>\n

            \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>need for new construction<\/p>\n

            5.3\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Wharfdale Road Business Units.\u00a0 <\/strong>The Society had been asked to investigate the proposal to convert<\/p>\n

            \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>No 20 from commercial use to a church.<\/p>\n

            5.4\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Talbot Woods (Richard Carr).\u00a0 <\/strong>The Society supported local residents\u2019 objections.\u00a0 The latest plan for 50 flats contravene1d all planning precepts<\/p>\n

              • 32 Markham Avenue. <\/strong>The requested 4 bungalows was too much for the site, 2\/3 could be<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                • 56 Richmond Park Avenue. <\/strong>The request to allow renovation and increase in internal space, with no<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  • 15 Robert Louis Stephenson Avenue. <\/strong>The plan to extend the High Victorian semi-detached house<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    would ruin the back of the property and should be rejected.<\/p>\n

                    • 69 Kimberley Road. <\/strong>The proposed extension to take all the garden.\u00a0 Should be rejected.<\/li>\n
                    • Iford Lane. <\/strong>Plans were not available for the plan to replace a house with flats<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                      1. Planning Sub-Committee.\u00a0 <\/strong>The Planning Sub-Committee will meet in the Echo Building for a<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                        \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>tour on 3rd<\/sup> May<\/p>\n

                          • 84-94 Shelborne Road. <\/strong>Plans to replace garages with 3 small houses was agreed.<\/li>\n
                          • Rosslyn Hotel. <\/strong>The replacement of a flue (to reduce fumes) was agreed.<\/li>\n
                          • 1 Westover Road (formerly Austin Reed). <\/strong>The Board agreed an exceptional alteration from retail to restaurant for this site, stressing that this was the only exception that would be permitted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                                • 50 Years of Conservation Areas. <\/strong>Ken had approached Caroline Peach with the suggestion that the Civic Society and Planning Department mount a joint display of the town\u2019s conservation areas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                                  during Dorset Architectural Week in September or Bournemouth Arts by the Sea Festival in October.<\/p>\n

                                  11.2\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Insurance.\u00a0 <\/strong>The Committee voted to renew the insurance with Civic Voice<\/p>\n
