Minutes of a Meeting of the Executive Committee held at 18 Sandbourne Road, Westbourne 1.00pm on Monday 24th<\/sup> April 2023 from 1310 to 1340hrs<\/strong><\/p>\n

    2. Built Environment. <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      • Firs Glen Road, Fortitudo Redevelopment \u2013 <\/strong>The plans that had been approved by Planning Board against the Planning Officers recommendation have been called in by the Secretary of State.<\/li>\n
      • Planning Committee \u00a0\u2013 <\/strong>Proposals agreed that mean the number of objections triggering planning applications coming before the Planning Committee will be based on those living within one mile of the site.<\/li>\n
      • A338 Slip Road to Bournemouth Hospital \u2013<\/strong> Recently approved by \u00a0delegated decision of Planning Board Chair.<\/li>\n
      • West Cliff Gardens \u2013 <\/strong>New flatblock nearing completion.<\/li>\n
      • Cliff House Hotel \u2013<\/strong> Plans approved for change of use to flats.<\/li>\n
      • Gainsborough Court, Cromwell Rd \u2013<\/strong> Revised plans submitted \u2013 JS to review<\/li>\n
      • Oil Spill in Poole Harbour \u2013<\/strong> Cleaning up operation now completed.<\/li>\n
      • Southbourne Crossroads Car Park \u2013<\/strong> JD reported that Tobias Ellwod MP had written to Michael Gove regarding the appeal decision \u2013 outcome awaited.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          • 896 Christchurch Road<\/strong> \u2013<\/strong> Revised plans submitted \u2013 JS to review<\/li>\n
          • Nici Hotel (former Savoy Hotel) \u2013 <\/strong>New pool and spa has opened<\/li>\n
          • Churchill Gardens \u2013 <\/strong>Friends of Churchill Gardens PS-W to follow up<\/li>\n
          • Parks Foundation Big Gives Green Match Fund \u2013 <\/strong>20th<\/sup> to 27th<\/sup> April<\/li>\n
          • Upside Down House \u2013<\/strong> The plan for the feature in front of The Pavilion having been rejected by the planners has now been approved having been resubmitted.<\/li>\n
          • Throop SANG –<\/strong> \u00a3280K extra agreed for the public green space and enabling works by Council Chief Exec.<\/li>\n
          • Benches \u2013<\/strong> Telephone call received from Carol B. Issue passed on to Council.<\/li>\n
          • St Peters Church \u2013<\/strong> Phil attended the heritage day last Saturday.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
